Galerie Laetitia Gorsy presents a temporary exhibition in the Paris showroom of designer Franck Genser, bringing contemporary art into direct dialogue with collectible design. Conceived on the eve of Art Basel Paris, the project moves away from the traditional white-cube format. The works are presented within an existing interior and alongside Franck Genser’s furniture, creating a space somewhere between exhibition, domestic environment and showroom. Rather than separating art and design, the presentation considers how paintings, sculptures, objects, materials and furniture can inhabit the same space and transform our perception of it.The exhibition brings together a group of women artists from different generations and practices, selected by Galerie Laetitia Gorsy.
